Clinical Placement

AHEC works collaboratively with several schools to coordinate student clinical placements in rural and urban underserved sites, including:

• University of Washington School of Medicine
• MEDEX Northwest Physician Assistant Program
• WSU College of Pharmacy
• Intercollegiate College of Nursing
• Gonzaga University Nurse Practitioner Program
• University Programs in Communication Disorders (WSU and EWU)
• EWU Physical Therapy Program
• EWU Occupational Therapy Program.

AHEC also coordinates with professional schools outside of Washington State for rotations within Washington.
